Understand how Paperless Official Scoring works in the ScoreboardLive app

Updated over 2 months ago

Make sure you have downloaded the ScoreboardLive app from the App Store or Google Play and get your players to do the same.

1. Open the ScoreboardLive app

2. Select I am a Player or Volunteer role and login

3. Enter your 6-digit code, which your coach or tournament host should have shared with you ahead of the tournament. Click pink Login button at bottom of screen. If the Tournament Host or your Coach has provided you with a QR code to scan, then this will enter your code automatically

4. As a player, once logged in you will arrive at your team roster. Select your name and click the pink Check In button at the bottom of the screen

5. You will see the player that you are marking for

6. Click the pink Start Round button at the bottom of the screen

7. The app will default to the starting hole that’s been set. Scores are entered by clicking the + button. The score defaults to the par for the hole and players simply click + (plus) or (minus) to input the correct score. Once all scores are in for the hole, tap Record Hole

8. Enter the scores and once finished, tap Finish round. If there are any incorrect scores, you will see this message - There is an inconsistency in the scoring. Please check the scores and resolve scores to attest

9. Once all scores are correct, tap Submit scores and the results will appear on the Results page in the Coach Portal

IMPORTANT: If you do not Publish Round Scores in the Scoreboard Coach Portal the results will not be included in the rankings.
