How to create a tournament you are hosting

Understand the steps that need completing to correctly set up a tournament

Make sure you are logged into the Coach Portal

1. Click TOURNAMENTS at the top of the screen

2. Click +Create in the top right of your screen

3. Make sure Tournament is selected

4. Enter all the tournament details and click Save

5. You can then complete the Teams, Course Setup, Live Scoring and Tee Groups pages as well as view Printables


Teams page

  1. Search for the teams that are playing in your tournament

  2. Click the pencil next to the team name to add their competing players. You can add a B Team and Individuals

  3. If you add the incorrect team, click the trash can icon. If you add the wrong player, click the pink dot next to their name

4. You can download the Teams page as a CSV file or JSON file


Course Setup

  1. Select the course you are playing. You can add another later if your event is across more than one course

  2. Choose the tee that is closest to the yardage you will be playing. You can
    amend hole length and pars later

  3. Click Edit to change the Yards, Pars and hole Times. When done, name the course setup and click Save

  4. You can add a separate course for each round by clicking Add Course


Tee Groups

  1. Set the Group Size and Start Type. Then add the start details depending on the Start Type you are using

  2. Add each team into a tee group once. You can then complete the remaining tee groups by using Auto-populate Players or manually add the teams and players to each tee group

  3. You can add another group by clicking Add Group at the bottom. You can also amend the Tee Sheet by clicking Edit Round

  4. Once complete, click Save


Live Scoring

  1. This is where you can choose ScoreboardLive for your event or a fully integrated live scoring partner


Printables

  1. Access all the Printables for your tournament. These are available to anyone with Coach Portal access who is competing in your event

  2. Important: The information visible in the Printables is based on the information you add when setting up your event
